National Law enforcement Museum Construction Update

Updated: Sep 28, 2018

Construction of the below grade National Law Enforcement Museum is progressing quickly as we approach the scheduled October 2018 dedication. The glass entry and exit pavilions have passed all water tests and only the installation of the glass doors and minor punch list work remains. Granite pavers are currently being installed on the Museum roof / at grade entry plaza. Meanwhile underground, interior stone from Portugal is being installed throughout and the theater is taking shape with the pouring of the concrete seating risers. Glass guardrails and stainless steel cladding are being installed on the escalators and colorful terrazzo floors are being installed across the Ticketing / Visitor Service Level. Installation of Exhibit elements is scheduled to start next week.
